Job Title: Project Manager - Water Modeling and Planning

Garver Engineering is seeking an experienced water industry professional to join our Water Infrastructure Modeling, Analytics, and Planning (WI-MAP) Team as a Project Manager for our developing national resource team specializing in planning and conceptual evaluations for water, wastewater, and reuse infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute technical components of water industry projects, including hydraulic modeling, master planning, and water quality evaluations.
  • Lead and support conceptual planning studies as a Planning Phase Manager.
  • Manage project schedule, scope, and fee.
  • Manage quality assurance and risk management.
  • Facilitate workshops with clients and mentor junior staff.
  • Coordinate with regional team client service managers and project managers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Five or more years of technical experience in water and wastewater with no less than two years of experience in master planning for water and/or wastewater infrastructure.
  • Significant experience in execution of master planning projects and development of capital improvement programs.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to become registered within six months of start of employment.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., Bentley WaterGEMS, Bentley SewerGEMS, Innoyvze InfoWater, Innovyze InfoWorks ICM).
Preferred Skills:
  • Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Experience leading water supply, water distribution, wastewater collection system, and/or integrated water master planning projects and development of capital improvement programs.
  • Experience with asset management programs for buried, linear water and/or wastewater system assets.
