Job Summary

Synovus is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Corporate Summer Intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and broad exposure to the Synovus organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of entry-level professional duties under close supervision, providing opportunities for professional training in the assigned business unit or functional area.
  • Perform a variety of developmental assignments in assigned areas under the direction of more senior-level staff, including data aggregation and management, project reports, and statistical analysis.
  • Contribute individually or as part of a team to support the designated business unit, assisting with problem-solving to maintain operational excellence and platform stability.
  • Work towards goals and objectives, participating in special projects as defined and assigned by management.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area, observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and risk limits specific to their role.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university with major coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, reflective of all college coursework.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office software products, including advanced Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills.
  • Anticipated graduation timeframe between May - Dec 2026.
