About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Intern to join our team for the summer. As a Corporate Finance Intern, you'll gain exposure to all facets of Corporate Finance through various job assignments across Corporate Finance. You'll collaborate and interact with a wide variety of people within Carter's to build relationships and a strong internal network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the consolidation of financial and strategic planning processes
  • Support corporate-level reporting and analysis, including EPS reconciliation, historical P&L, guidance model, inventory, inflation, and high-level operating income reconciliations
  • Provide analysis to business leaders in support of projects, new business investments, and other profit or cost reduction opportunities
  • Prepare consolidated materials and create executive reporting packages for key meetings and forecast cycles
Requirements
  • Working towards completion of a bachelor's degree with a focus on business, finance, and/or accounting
  • Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0
  • Strong leadership ability, communication skills, and decision-making skills
  • Top-caliber critical thinking skills and a curious personality
  • Problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to aim for improvements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly collaborative working and communication style
