Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to work in a supportive school district for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education and a passion for creating inclusive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide tailored instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster a nurturing learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
  • Valid state teaching certification/license in Special Education
  • Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
