About the Job

Cape Fox Lodge is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking delicious dishes for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Kitchen Operations: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies, stocking, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high-quality food presentation, taste, and temperature, adhering to established standards.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: 1+ year of experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or lodge setting.
  • Culinary Skills: Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
  • Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Certifications: Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain.
