Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day respiratory care to patients, working under general supervision to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Perform respiratory therapy and procedures independently, as well as maintain and clean related equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Receive verbal orders from physicians for respiratory treatments, adhering to specific policies and procedures.
  • Conduct pulmonary function testing on patients to assess their respiratory health.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and follow complex medical instructions, with a thorough understanding of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment.
  • Completion of an accredited (AMA) school in respiratory therapy or its equivalency.
  • Licensure by the State of Indiana as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • BLS certification.
  • Preferred two years of experience in the field.
