Electrical Instrumentation Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at Veolia North America. As a key member of our facilities maintenance group, you will be responsible for installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining industrial instrumentation and controls.
About the Role
This is a skilled position that requires a strong understanding of electrical and electronic circuits, as well as experience with PLC and SCADA software and hardware. You will work independently and as part of a team to diagnose and resolve complex issues, and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of our systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, test, repair, and maintain industrial instrumentation and controls, including metering, controlling, and recording devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with PLC and SCADA software and hardware.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of our systems.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as an Instrument & Controls Technician, with a strong background in electrical and electronic circuits.
- Experience with PLC and SCADA software and hardware, including programming and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A valid Georgia driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
