We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at Corpus Christi Medical Center. As a key member of our Medical Imaging Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in directing all aspects of care provided by the Medical Imaging Department, working closely with the Director, Medical Director, and Physicist to ensure seamless operations.
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including producing two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians in the diagnosis of disease.
- Study the malfunction of organs by performing diagnostic imaging procedures and analyzing results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Graduate from an accredited ARRT program or Ultrasound Program.
- RDMS or ARRT(S) registered or Registry Eligible, with initial registry obtained within six months of hire date.
- Two years of experience in a hospital-imaging department, with a strong background in diagnostic imaging and patient care.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
