About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area.

As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for planning and executing radiologic requirements for quality control, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of special procedures, including sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the special procedures team to ensure seamless execution of procedures and high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Administer medication and therapies under the direction of a physician, maintaining the highest level of patient safety and care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in diagnostic imaging, including Meditech and PACS systems.
Requirements:
  • One year of related experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred, with a strong foundation in radiologic technology and patient care.
  • Associated degree from a reputable school of radiological technology is required, with a strong emphasis on clinical practice and patient safety.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required, demonstrating a commitment to patient care and safety.
  • Current TDH certificate for Certified Medical Technologist is required, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.
  • ARRT certification is preferred, indicating a high level of expertise and commitment to the field of diagnostic radiology.
