We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our team at the Henry County Library System in McDonough, GA.

Job Summary

The Business Operations Manager will manage the daily business operations of the library, including personnel, financial, business, and library records. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and experience with budgeting and financial administration.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily business operations, including personnel, financial, business, and library records
  • Develop and implement accounting systems and procedures
  • Perform administrative, personnel, office, and bookkeeping duties
  • Ensure accurate and complete accounting for the Libraries' financial transactions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 4 years recent accounts payable/receivable experience
  • Proficient in accounting software, including Excel
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly salary for this position is between $18-$24 per hour, negotiable depending on qualifications. We offer generous paid vacation, sick leave, optional medical & dental insurance under State Health Plan, and participation in the Teacher Retirement System of Georgia. Service accrued under TRS is transferrable.
