Job Summary:

Provides strategic advice and guidance to management on financial and accounting matters. Conducts detailed analyses and develops recommendations to improve financial performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develops and implements financial planning and analysis processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensures compliance with internal and external audit requirements, FERC regulations, and other applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Financial Operations: Oversees financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  4. Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates financial risks, develops and implements risk management processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  5. Team Leadership: Leads and manages a team of financial analysts and accountants to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of seven years relevant experience.

• Strong experience with financial planning and analysis, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

• Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and FERC regulations.

• Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis.

• Demonstrated proficiency in the performance of advanced accounting methodologies and procedures.
