Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the operational team as needed.
  • Handle incoming calls and address customer inquiries.
  • Deliver exceptional and professional customer service.
  • Perform a wide range of general administrative tasks to a high standard, ensuring business needs are met.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety protocols and assist as required.
  • Compile timesheets for payroll processing.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in a transportation organization is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A professional demeanor and high standards of conduct.
  • A commitment to health and safety practices.
  • A solid geographical understanding of the South Island.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications.
  • Experience with ICOS & E-Road is advantageous, although comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.

This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, with hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, allowing for some flexibility for holiday and sickness coverage.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a ministry of justice check and a drug and alcohol test.
