Team Dynamics:

The Licensing division at Nutanix comprises 14 professionals spread across various locations. Our team has achieved notable milestones, including optimizing the licensing workflow and ensuring adherence to compliance standards. Our commitment to exceptional customer service distinguishes us as we cater to the specific licensing requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate functional specifications for multi-tier applications, covering responsive user interfaces, backend services, and data storage solutions. This includes testing applications on both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Create automated test scripts utilizing Python, Selenium/Puppeteer, and Jenkins to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Work in close partnership with the product management team to convert requirements into comprehensive, high-quality test plans and cases.
  • Contribute to the development of clean, stable, and bug-free code by adhering to industry best practices and methodologies, including iterative development and continuous delivery.
  • Assume leadership roles by establishing objectives for the initial year and striving to meet them.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP/S, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
  • Ability to identify and apply suitable automation tools for testing purposes.
  • Experience in automated testing of RESTful web services is essential.
  • Capability to devise a testing strategy, draft test plans, and develop detailed test cases.
  • Solid understanding of testing principles and processes, with the ability to produce test documentation.
  • Proficiency in creating clean and maintainable automated tests for both user interface and backend components.
  • Demonstrated passion and ownership for the quality of applications managed by the team.
  • Ability to acquire strong domain knowledge and contribute to product-level decision-making.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in developing automated tests using tools such as Selenium or Puppeteer, Python, Jenkins, and Maven.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like PyTest, PyUnit, Jasmine, or Mocha is preferred.

Actual base pay may vary based on several individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional elements such as sign-on bonuses, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
