**Job Summary:**

Talantage, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Contract Negotiator to join our team. As a Contract Negotiator, you will be responsible for negotiating contract agreements for products and services, assessing contractor performance, and preparing and editing contracts between the company and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contract agreements for products and services, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Assess contractor performance to identify areas for improvement and negotiate amendments to existing contracts.
  • Prepare and edit contracts between the company and potential clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Handle breach of contract in a timely and professional manner.
  • Serve as the main liaison with outside contracting representatives, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement proposals, considering cultural norms and negotiation best practices.
  • Research regulations to guarantee contracts are updated and in compliance with laws.
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with contract terms and regulations.
  • May assist with payables as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a closely related field.
  • Three (3) years of work experience, preferably in local government.
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an impeccable mastery of the English language.
  • Clear adherence to company policies and procurement rules and regulations.
  • Good organization skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of negotiation best practices, both in-person and in written form, that considers cultural norms.
