Job Description

The Provider Network Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the provider network through contract negotiations, relationship development, and servicing. This role requires a strong focus on contracting and negotiating contract terms with various healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, including smaller institutional providers, professional providers, medical groups, and physician groups.
  • Negotiate contract terms with providers, including language and rates.
  • Service and support providers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and retention.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network strategies.
  • Conduct complex negotiations and draft documents as needed.
  • Assist in preparing financial projections and conducting analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in contracting, provider relations, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
