Job Summary

As a Table Games Dealer at Bally's Corporation, you will be responsible for dealing all table games in a proficient manner, adhering to current policies and procedures, and maintaining a courteous and friendly demeanor towards our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Know and abide by Bally's policies, procedures, internal controls, and courtesy guidelines.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with state gaming regulations.
  • Maintain and continually update knowledge of regulations set forth by the Mississippi Gaming Commission and the Mississippi State Tax Commission regarding table game operations.
  • Conduct, protect, and control table games in accordance with Bally's policies.
  • Pay or collect bets in an accurate manner in accordance with Bally's rules.
  • Notify table game supervisor when handling guest transactions, exchanging currency for gaming chips, and cashing in.
  • Advise table game supervisor or above of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealers.
  • Promote safety awareness to minimize work-related injuries.
  • Adhere to department and property policies and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of property information and memorabilia.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain a Mississippi Gaming badge (work permit).
  • Must project a professional and positive image.
  • High energy level.
  • Good judgment and common sense.
  • Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with all Bally's employees and guests.
  • Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics.
Training

All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. The following courses are required for this position:

  • Responsible Gaming Awareness Training
