Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance and repair on all equipment throughout the facility, office, and manufacturing areas. This includes installing and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine electrical maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.
- Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and components, following electrical code, manuals, and specifications.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment by interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and related machinery operation.
- Program and troubleshoot multiple manufacturers PLCs used within ICC facilities and production equipment.
- Support vision inspection systems, including calibrations and adjustments.
- Research and recommend improvements and upgrades in all electrical systems throughout the plant.
- Install new electrical equipment as required and permitted by law.
- Design electrical systems and draw ladder diagrams and schematics.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); completion of an 8000-hour electrical training program to attain Journeyman papers.
- Valid License required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to maintain and upgrade all electrical systems.
- PLC experience a must.
- Have worked in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
- Must be computer literate.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general and professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers.
7-day work week, 1st shift, 7AM-3:30PM, with possibility of 1-2 weekends off per month. Pay: $30+/hr depending on experience level.
