Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine equipment inspections to identify potential failure risks and take corrective action to prevent downtime
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs of production equipment, including electrowelding and gas cutting
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend equipment lifespan
  • Collaborate with production staff to ensure effective communication and training on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency
Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience in manufacturing or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including electrowelding and gas cutting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including safety procedures and maintenance manuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to extreme heat. Safety glasses and steel-toed work boots are required.
