As a Commercial Refrigeration Installation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality installations of intricate refrigeration systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and satisfaction for our clients. We are looking for individuals who possess a thorough understanding of industry standards, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Skillfully assemble and install a variety of commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Deliver, set up, and install ice-making machinery.
  • Connect refrigeration units to electrical systems, ensuring proper wiring and grounding.
  • Install additional components such as refrigeration line sets as required.
  • Conduct thorough testing and calibration of new systems for peak performance.
  • Maintain effective communication throughout the installation process.
  • Prioritize safety by adhering to all relevant protocols and regulations, particularly when handling refrigerants and electrical components.
  • Ensure the safe disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize risks.
  • Provide mentorship and training to apprentice technicians, sharing your knowledge and skills.
  • Assist in managing inventory to ensure adequate parts and supplies are available.
  • Engage in continuous training to stay informed about industry advancements and technologies.
  • Keep accurate records of installations using service software.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience in installing ice machines, condensing units, line sets, and hanging evaporator coils for walk-in coolers/freezers.
  • EPA Certification is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of refrigeration systems and their components.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology.
  • Experience with Epass appliance service software is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess personal hand tools.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Skilled in identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
