Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to cultivate and strengthen partnerships with various organizations.
- Educate community members on mental health issues and the services provided by Maryland Wellness to boost company visibility and referral rates.
- Guide team members on leveraging their networks to enhance awareness and referrals.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of referral sources, documenting daily, weekly, and monthly interactions with providers, and generate reports to analyze trends over time.
- Conduct impactful presentations with referral partners, utilizing personal insights and experiences.
- Assist in planning and executing company and community events to promote staff participation and community engagement.

Reporting and Collaboration:
- Complete weekly and monthly statistical reports, and develop targeted business plans to sustain referral flow and identify new opportunities.
- Regularly meet with the Community Relations Manager to discuss progress and strategize accordingly.

Required Skills & Abilities:
- Highly adaptable and flexible in a changing environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse demographics.
- Proficient in engaging with both internal staff and external agencies.
- Must possess a valid driver's license for community travel.
- Understand and uphold confidentiality and regulations regarding HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
- Demonstrate professionalism and a positive representation of the company in all interactions.

Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of addressing various audiences through multiple platforms.
- Comfortable with technology and various communication methods.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage diverse tasks and projects effectively.
- Maintain a reliable, ethical, and honest work ethic.

Experience & Education Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years in outreach, market development, or relationship management is required.
- An Associate's degree in Communications, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in mental health or behavioral health is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Copper) is advantageous.

Compensation:
Salary range is $55,000 to $70,000.00.
