The Steel Reinforcement Specialist at Colony Hardware plays a crucial role in the preparation and assembly of steel reinforcement bars (rebar) utilizing specialized machinery such as a rebar shear line and bending equipment.

Your responsibilities will include handling, cutting, bending, and organizing materials for customer pickups or deliveries to various job sites.

A Glimpse into Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist the shear operator or independently operate the shear line
- Feed the line with rebar bundles; open and organize bundles
- Load trucks with completed orders in a systematic and specified order
- Support the rebar bender by supplying rebar cut from the shear line
- Move finished orders to designated shipping areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout production and at the end of each shift
- Communicate any issues to your supervisor for prompt resolution
- Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications for Success:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience with steel, rebar, or similar materials, or in a warehouse or outdoor setting.

- Ability to safely lift and manage loads exceeding 50 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency.
