About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Southern Regional Medical Center, a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect patient care services, working collaboratively with our team to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services, utilizing clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, to maintain safety and provide patient comfort and care.
  • Work in a variety of patient care units, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
Requirements
  • Current and valid state license.
  • Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum one year experience in acute care nursing preferred.
  • IV certification upon hire (state specific).
  • Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate preferred or within 60 days of hire.
