Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to join our team. As a Co-op, you will perform technical activities on assigned projects under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Engineer and/or a Mechanical Designer EIT.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and perform system calculations, including load calculations and ventilation schedules.
  • Conduct site surveys to determine existing facility conditions.
  • Assist in the design team in coordinating with other disciplines.
  • Accompany staff/project manager on project job site visits to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a student at an accredited University pursuing a major in engineering. You must also be able to work through the University's Cooperative Education program or similar program if the University has a Co-op program.

Preferred qualifications include effective verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a 3-semester commitment. The student shall work a total of 3 semesters while alternating work and school schedules.
