Job Description
At Alexton Incorporated, we are seeking a highly skilled Audio Visual Systems Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have five years of experience in operation, repair, and installation of audio visual equipment.
Maintaining and enhancing in-house cable TV infrastructure is an essential aspect of this role.
Possessing relevant AV experience in regards to projectors, video relay, broadcast, and design is also crucial.
This position requires technical aptitude toward AV systems, video conferencing, computer technology, as well as networking, wireless, and data cabling standards.
As an Audio Visual Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing and setting up weekly events in client conference rooms or offsite locations.
You will need to possess low voltage cabling installation skills and experience with digital AV installation and maintenance.
Training customers on the use of installed systems is also an essential part of this role.
Experience in commercial AV installations, Polycom, and Tandberg videoconferencing products is required.
A strong working knowledge of basic hand tools for installs and good mechanical/fabrication and soldering skills are a plus.
Able to accurately read wiring diagrams and possessing excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and proven face-to-face customer support skills are essential.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
