Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clean-Up Utility Specialist to join our team at McWane, Inc. in Anniston, Alabama. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient clean-up process in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Operate machinery and equipment used in the clean-up process, including sweepers, vacuum trucks, and skid steers
  • Examine department machinery to verify conformance to cleanliness standards
  • Inspect and clean sand mixers throughout the facility
  • Perform any and all cleaning duties as assigned by the maintenance management team
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of related on-the-job experience preferred
  • Previous work experience in a foundry or heavy manufacturing environment a plus
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to dust, fumes, and loud noises. The successful candidate must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and a respirator.
