We are seeking a skilled Pulmonologist to join our team at Ascension Via Christi in Manhattan, Kansas. As a Pulmonologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, to advance the field of pulmonology.
- Provide documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialty, including on-call schedules.
