Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Implement and evaluate medical and nursing regimens, ensuring adherence to hospital and nursing standards.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote patient-centered care and improve health outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on health-related topics and disease management.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current and unobstructed New York State Registered Nurse (NY Hospitals) or Connecticut Registered Nurse License (CT Hospitals).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing role.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
