Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse Float Pool position is responsible for providing nursing care to assigned patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. The ideal candidate will have a nursing diploma or graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and a current NYS RN license. BLS certification is required, with ACLS and rhythm interpretation course preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to assigned patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records.
- Nursing diploma or graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current NYS RN license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS and rhythm interpretation course preferred.
The Registered Nurse Float Pool position is located at Rhinebeck-NDH 6511 Springbrook Avenue. The work schedule is full-time, with 36 hours per week. The work shift is night 12, with an FTE of 0. The work environment is fast-paced and requires significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity. The position involves significant occupational risk and requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force.
