ROLE OVERVIEW
The Electrical Engineer will prepare and review technical designs and templates for Partner Energy's Renewable Energy Team. This position demands a solid understanding of NEC Code, solar energy systems, battery storage, and other power generation and utility interconnection electrical engineering principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop Electrical Engineering technical designs and templates for renewable energy projects.
- Conduct due diligence and evaluate designs from other engineers.
- Prepare basis of design analyses and reviews.
- Collaborate with other technical disciplines.
- Create engineering design and construction documentation.
- Enhance Electrical Engineering design processes through teamwork.
- Travel for site inspections and feasibility assessments.
- Participate in project-related meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in interpreting, designing, and preparing Electrical Engineering documentation, including:
- NEC Code
- Solar energy systems
- Battery storage systems
- EV charging systems
- Utility interconnection for Distributed Generation (both behind and in front of the meter); utility-scale experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in software tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Clear communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Visual acuity sufficient for job duties, including reading printed materials and computer screens.
- Frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling throughout the work shift.
- Ability to climb ladders as required.
