Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Controls Specialist to join our team in Northeast Ohio. As an Internal Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating IT controls and identifying areas for improvement. You will conduct risk-based IT audits and SOX testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT auditing and a strong understanding of internal control principles. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and our team.

About the Role

Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Location: Cleveland-Akron-Canton area, OH

Job Type: Contract/Consulting

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate IT general controls and application controls
  2. Conduct IT audit planning and testing
  3. Assess and report on IT risks and control gaps
  4. Develop and implement remediation plans
  5. Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT auditing
  • CISA certification preferred
  • Other certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CDPSE, QSA, or ITIL a plus
