Dental Hygienist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Family Dental Care of Wilmington. As a key member of our 16-person team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of serving patients with great integrity and providing the best customer service.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, screenings, and education on oral health.
- Work collaboratively with our team of dentists and hygienists to ensure seamless patient care and efficient treatment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies in dental hygiene.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting collaboration and communication among team members.
- Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate records as needed.
- Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
