Dental Hygienist Specialist

At Heartland Dental Care, we are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our dental practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough dental hygiene services, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Conduct thorough medical and dental histories, and document patient information accurately.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Current dental hygienist license and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
