Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a member of our care team, you will work collaboratively with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide individualized care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing lab tests, and documenting patient information.
  • Assist with procedures and treatments as directed by physicians or registered nurses.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the care team.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state of Virginia.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed.
