At Henrico Doctors' Hospital, our Cardiac Care Nurses provide essential care for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, valve repairs, chest pain episodes, coronary artery issues, and telemetry monitoring.

Your role will involve creating a comforting and secure environment for patients and their families while documenting care for all admissions and ongoing patient needs.

We are a dedicated and hardworking team seeking a remarkable addition like you.

- You will administer medications following the five rights of medication administration.
- Our staff is expected to maintain current knowledge relevant to nursing practices in Critical Care.
- Your responsibilities will include initiating and documenting patient education and discharge planning in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members.

Requirements

- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
