Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at CenterWell Home Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and recording medical histories.
  • Perform routine tests and screenings, such as mammograms and EKGs, as directed by a physician or licensed provider.
  • Administer medications, including vaccinations and immunizations, as directed by a physician or licensed provider.
  • Counsel patients on medication and special diets.
  • Provide wound care and change dressings as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure top-level patient care.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a direct patient care setting.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Less than 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bilingual.
  • Hands-on professional phlebotomy experience.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
  • Experience with HEDIS.
