Alternate Solutions Health Network LLC is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Job Summary:

  • Provide home-based skilled speech therapy care for patients as directed by the attending physician.
  • Develop individualized ST plans of care and make adjustments as needs change.
  • Guide patients and their family members in the use of therapeutic activities and home exercise programs to improve swallowing, breathing, cognition, speech, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Minimize patient risk by teaching preventative measures and making good decisions.
  • Counsel patients and family members on disease management and provide education on speech therapy-related functions.
  • Complete all clinical documentation following agency protocol and Medicare/Federal guidelines.
  • Attend in-service training and mandatory agency meetings.

Requirements:

  • Current license as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a ST in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
  • Capable of all physical demands.
