The Tennessee State Veterans Home is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Charge Nurse. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and supervision to nursing staff
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff, including LPNs and nursing assistants
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
- Current active LPN license in the state of Tennessee
- 1-3 years of experience in long-term care, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong clinical and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
