Wellpath is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in the Department of State Hospitals. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the assessment and data collection of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions.
  • Provide restoration of competency services to Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) patients.
  • Implement medical plans, administer medications, and obtain diagnostic tests as ordered by healthcare practitioners.
  • Communicate patient information to nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • One (1) or more years of clinic experience preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred.
