We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at HCA South Atlantic Division. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.



Job Summary

This role is responsible for triaging, assessing, and treating patients of all ages presenting for emergency care. Our Emergency Department is dedicated to providing timely, compassionate care for patients with emergency and life-threatening conditions. Responsibilities


  • Triage and assess patients presenting for emergency care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when necessary
  • Coordinate and triage incoming ambulance traffic
  • Manage care with primary ED attending and demonstrate ability to manage critical situations
  • Provide patient education and support to patients and their families


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher. You must also be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license. Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - PALS and ACLS certification is also required.
