Senior Engineering Leader for Digital Transformation

As a senior engineering leader, you'll drive the implementation of our next-generation platform and product engineering strategy. This involves leading a team of 80+ software engineers worldwide, collaborating with Global Product Management to deliver actionable insights to C-level clients on gartner.com.
Our website is the storefront of Gartner's $4.5 billion Research and Advisory business, undergoing a CX transformation. We need an experienced software development leader who can partner closely with Product, attract top-notch talent, manage and mentor a global team, and cultivate a customer-centric mindset.
You'll lead the transformation of our Digital Products portfolio, increasing efficiency and innovation in a dynamic environment. Your goal is to grow our modern technology function into one of the best globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a geographically distributed team of 80+ software engineers
- Partner with Product Management to deliver client-facing products
- Cultivate a customer-centric mindset among the team
- Grow a cross-functional global team into a high-performing unit
Requirements:
- At least 15 years of experience in people management as an engineering leader
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong background in consumer/web/interfacing technologies and products
- Experience with modern full-stack technologies (e.g., ReactJS, Java)
- Experience with cloud environments and cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred)
- A proven track record of success with Agile Scrum methodology
