About the Role

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Release Engineer with experience in creating PRs and proficiency in Python or other scripting languages. The role requires strong multitasking abilities to manage incidents across numerous Slack channels until resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Executing release cutovers, planning and coordinating events, and collaborating with various teams, including development, QA, operations, project management to efficiently triage issues. Conducting technical reviews, leading performance and DevOps team discussions, and making key technical decisions. Monitoring ACL tickets, ensuring consistency, and addressing production issues.

Requirements

5+ years of Release Engineering experience. Proficiency in Python (preferred) and familiarity with other scripting languages. Expertise in automation and release engineering processes. Being able to pull and track data in regards to each release. GitOps Expertise, including Git/GitHub, GitOps, Git Branching strategies, and setting up guardrails on Git milestones and labels. Experience with Technical Reviews and action items. Making crucial technical decisions and initiating follow-up actions. Creating tickets to track technical decisions and their outcomes. Coordinating and following up on action items resulting from reviews. Managing tickets and slack channels for action items.
