Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician II to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing back-end and box-build assembly processes to ensure timely shipments of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble complex systems and components using specialized tooling and equipment
  • Verify incoming materials for accuracy and store them using a first-in, first-out inventory system
  • Manually assemble systems and components at a predetermined rate
  • Scan required components or sub-assemblies from flow racks or bin locations
  • Maintain certification and proficiency in various assembly operations
  • Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies in designated areas
  • Execute purge processes as needed
  • Maintain functionality of production equipment using preventative maintenance measures
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position
Requirements
  • Ability to calculate quantity of parts to be prepped and ready for use at any time
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
