Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician II to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for verifying, testing, and repairing electronic circuit board assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting of server hardware components using Linux command-line tools.
  • Diagnose and repair to basic powered functional test failures to a component level on electronic circuit board assemblies.
  • Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Understand and utilize assembly documentation, including schematics, BOMs, EC documents, and visual aids.
  • Assist the Test Engineering department in improving the efficiency of diagnosis and assembly testing.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware components and ability to diagnose and repair various issues within a server manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts, including probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing floor with moderate noise levels. Diagnostic Technicians are required to wear appropriate PPE, including hearing protection, composite toe shoes, and protective eyewear.
