Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician III to join our team on the second shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing products to meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test products according to specifications and quality standards
  • Verify incoming materials for accuracy and store them using a FIFO inventory system
  • Assist in workload management and support colleagues as needed
  • Scan required components or sub-assemblies from flow racks, bins, or Kanban locations
  • Maintain certification and/or proficiency in Assemblers I and II and support training gaps
  • Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies in designated areas
  • Execute purge processes as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
Requirements
  • Ability to calculate quantities of parts to be prepared and ready for use at any time
  • Ability to effectively train and support Assembler I
  • Ability to complete department problem-solving tasks
  • Ability to operate a personal computer, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and read and understand visual aids
