Position Overview:

As a Digital Solutions Systems Engineer, your technical acumen will position you as a key player in enhancing the technological frameworks that support critical government operations. We are seeking a seasoned technical professional with a background in systems or network administration, particularly in the context of digital solutions. Your role will involve not only maintaining existing systems but also innovating and implementing advanced Cross Domain solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your 4+ years of experience in systems administration or solutions architecture to lead projects that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee teams engaged in systems delivery or digital solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Leverage your expertise in Linux Systems Administration, particularly with RHEL 7 or RHEL 9, to contribute to architectural design and operational support.
  • Maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Guide your team in understanding network dynamics through effective monitoring and performance management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to achieve DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Compliance Certification within 60 days of employment.
  • Experience with Cross Domain Solutions, including technologies such as Forcepoint High-Speed Guards and Radiant Mercury, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with network security components, including firewalls and VPNs, is preferred.
  • Experience in data flow engineering and operations will be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies like VMWare ESXi and vSphere is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code technologies, such as Chef and Terraform, is desirable.

Clearance Requirements:
Applicants must be prepared for a security investigation and meet eligibility criteria for classified information access; a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
