About the Role

Effective School Solutions is seeking a per diem Mental Health Clinician to provide clinical services to students with significant behavioral and emotional needs. The ideal candidate will work with a seasoned management team to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical interventions that promote academic and mental health stability for students and their families.
  • Provide group, individual, and family counseling services.
  • Develop and implement family programming, including monthly Parent Support groups.
  • Refer students and families to appropriate levels of care, collaborating with supervisors and other professionals.
  • Optimize interdisciplinary team collaboration to enhance student care.
  • Develop strong working relationships with school administration, teachers, and paraprofessionals.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Submit timely clinical documentation aligned with the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in team meetings, including administrative school meetings and ESS supervision meetings.
  • Maintain current professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Attend work on scheduled days and times, dressed professionally and with a professional demeanor.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 2+ years of experience treating children and adolescents with significant behavioral and emotional challenges.
  • A clinical license in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy is preferred.
  • Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience working with students, families, and community health agencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using a computer.
