About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Direct Support Professional to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses in their daily activities, including health and personal management, achieving personal goals, recreation, and daily household living.

Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals in daily activities, including health and personal management, achieving personal goals, recreation, and daily household living.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of program individuals.
  • Support individuals in achieving personal goals and promoting independence.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals in crisis situations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree with 1 year of related experience.
  • Valid NY Driver's License.
  • Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
  • Strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.
