POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for monitoring and documenting activities and incidents at a designated site, ensuring the safety and security of the property and its occupants. Conducts regular inspections to identify any irregularities. Maintains order and may enforce site-specific regulations and directives regarding personnel, visitors, and property. The role requires the ability to remain on foot for extended periods throughout the workday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Safeguarding property and individuals by patrolling the area; overseeing surveillance systems; examining buildings, equipment, and access points; granting entry as necessary.
  • Documenting irregularities; advising violators of established policies and procedures.
  • Completing incident reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Performing tasks as directed by supervisors or management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Possession of a valid New Jersey SORA License.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Proficient in verbal de-escalation techniques.
  • Reliable means of transportation.
  • Must be able to comprehend and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
