Aircraft Records Specialist Job Description

Breeze Airways is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Records Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft by maintaining and auditing records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Federal Airline Regulations (FAR), Airworthy Directives (ADs), and other applicable standards.
  • Audit maintenance work orders to ensure accuracy, proper signoffs, and compliance.
  • Audit flight times for accuracy between Flight Tracking System and Maintenance Information System (MIS) and correct discrepancies in MIS.
  • Assist in building inventory of new and used aircraft.
  • Complete records-related audits as necessary and input all documentation into records systems for future retrieval.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of data entry on all aircraft, engine, and APU maintenance documentation. Verify and log all APU reads.
  • Respond to Team Member queries for records retrieval and/or actioning any requests in the MIS system.
  • Ensure all certifications for LLP and Hard Time items are scanned and attached to applicable serialized components installed on all aircraft.
  • Identify and champion process improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor Aircraft Records and Manager Aircraft Records.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Aircraft Records experience, including auditing experience with maintenance paperwork.
  • Knowledgeable with Aircraft Maintenance Programs, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Technical Directives.
  • Experience in Aircraft Records environment with Part 121, 135 or 145 operations.
  • Familiar with an airline Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) such as TRAX or AMOS.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work; days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed.
  • Must be willing to work with other departments within the company as needed.
  • High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
