Server Job Description

At Uncle Julio's, we're seeking a skilled Server to join our team and provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for delivering top-notch service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our valued customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner, providing exceptional hospitality and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale (POS) system and providing menu recommendations and suggestions for food and drink pairings.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation and quality meet our standards and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, inquiries, and special requests, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and server stations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately, following all cash handling procedures and maintaining a high level of integrity and honesty.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including kitchen staff and bartenders, to ensure smooth service and a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Qualifications:
  • Prior restaurant experience, preferably as a server/waiter/waitress, with a strong understanding of food and beverage service and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, and basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and comfortable standing on feet for extended periods of time.
